WHAT TO DO IF YOUR RIGHT TO VISIT AND CARE FOR YOUR CHILD IS OBSTRUCTED AFTER DIVORCE?
Reader’s Question: Mr. Quoc, currently residing in Hoi An, asks: My ex-wife and I have been divorced for six months, and the court awarded custody of our 8-year-old son to my ex-wife. I am obligated to pay monthly child support and have fulfilled this obligation fully and on time. However, whenever I try to contact my son or visit him, my ex-wife often refuses and denies me access. She also makes disparaging remarks toward me. I’m not sure if my ex-wife has the legal right to prevent me from visiting and caring for my child after the divorce. If this situation continues, what should I do to be able to see my son?

IS IT LEGAL TO REASSIGN AN EMPLOYEE TO PERFORM WORK DIFFERENT FROM THAT AGREED UPON IN THE LABOR CONTRACT?
*Mr. Huy, residing in Cam Le District, asks: I signed a 36-month fixed-term labor contract with A Limited Liability Company, under which I was employed as a technical staff member in the production workshop. The contract clearly specifies my salary, working conditions, and specific job responsibilities. However, 05 months after I began working, I had a disagreement with my direct supervisor. Following this, the company issued a decision to temporarily reassign me to a loading and unloading worker, stating that the change would only remain in effect until a replacement is found. I do not agree with this reassignment decision, but given the current difficulty in finding a new job, I have not yet left the company. Therefore, I would like to ask: Is the company’s decision to reassign me lawful under labor regulations? What should I do to protect my rights and interests?
